‘Agggrrrrrrrrr you need to buck your ideas up me lad! ’
I am sure you will agree the Infant children were outstanding in their performances this week! Our parents and visitors commended our children for their singing, acting and sense of humour in the summer concert of Pirates V Mermaids. It takes real courage and a strength of character to stand up in front of an audience particularly when the audience are your relatives and you are under 8 years of age! I am so pleased we decided to do a whole school Infant performance, as it was a real success. Thank you to Mrs Bye and her team for an outstanding concert!
A huge congratulations must go to all of the Junior School girls who took part in what was a splendid Sports Day. Thank you to the Parents' Association for their continued support in all of our events. The girls had a fantastic time and some real sporting talents were showcased. Thank you also to all of the staff who both teach and support the girls and thank you to all parents who were able to attend and cheer them on.
You may begin to notice our outdoor provision is starting to arrive. We will soon have lots of new equipment to stimulate and engage our enquiring minds. We are really excited and I am sure the children will appreciate the inviting environments we will have on offer for Preschool and Reception.
Our trees have been planted this afternoon and some flower pots have been assembled. The children will be learning about different species of trees and plants and how to look after them. If you look closely, you will notice that the trees are different varieties including fruit trees. There are herbs too and the children will be tending to the garden learning about what they are, how they grow and what is needed to keep them healthy and to grow.
