BGS Parents' Association raise over £7,500 at Valentine's Ball

The Bury Grammar School Girls and Boys Parents' Associations came together on Saturday for a joint Valentine's Ball.

The fundraising event for the School was held at the Village Hotel, Bury, and over 140 people attended the event which was compered by Tower FM’s morning host Jon Holling.

The Parents' Associations were thrilled to welcome nurses and volunteers from both Bury Hospice and Springhill Hospice as special guests on the night and Principal of the Bury Grammar Schools, Jo Anderson in attendance.

Over £7,500 was raised and the night included a table raffle, raffle and auction.

The Jackson Kay Band provided the entertainment along with Ian Lavin the Magician and it was great to see so many prominent members of the Bury Grammar Schools and Bury community come together to raise money for such a worthwhile cause.
