Bury Grammar School held its annual Founders' Day celebration on Friday.
Following the Holy Communion at Bury Parish Chruch in the morning, led by Revd Hugh W Bearn, pupils and staff gathered outside the School in preparation for the procession.
The School's procession was led by the Corps of Drums in their No.1 Blues Uniform and the Officers. The School paraded to the Cenotaph next to Bury Parish Church for the wreath-laying ceremony, while Head Girl Charlotte Marshall carried the School flag.
The traditional Founders' Day Service then took place in the church and The Right Reverend Jack Nichols delivered the sermon.
The day concluded with a buffet lunch, which included music and speeches, in the Boys' School Assembly Hall.
