Five BGS pupils attended a special computing workshop at the Museum of Science and Industry recently as part of The Royal Society's 'After the Reboot' report.
The workshop was an opportunity to enhance Computing education outside of the classroom working with Raspberry Pis and BBC Micro:bits.
BGS pupils Mackenzie Buckley, Josh Isherwood, Olivia McCoy, Aleena Mehdi and Chloe Morgan showcased their work to others attending the launch, which included many representatives from the education sector and business sectors.
Our pupils received a little treat at the end of the event as they were allowed to keep the BBC Micro:bit they had been using throughout the day.
All pupils thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and a great day was had by all.
