When the dinner bell rings the academic timetable may stop for an hour but a whole new range of activities begin.
Each day there is a wide variety of clubs and activities run in school for the boys to get stuck into. Whether your son’s interest is in sport, music, computing or philosophy there is something for everybody.
It is often in these clubs that boys make new friends, develop new or existing skills and learn about being part of a team. Being involved in clubs at school is as important as participating in lessons. Boys are encouraged from their first year to use their free time productively by working towards their BGS Diploma L1. This, amongst other requirements, demands the boys participate in extra-curricular activities throughout the year. This ethos of involvement continues with the BGS Diploma in the second and third years before boys can choose to be part of the CCF, DofE award or other activities.
