Girls' Junior School & Infant School update - 29/03/2018

Dear Parents,

What a way to start the Easter break with nothing short of an amazing Eggstravaganza! As the animals arrived the excitement brewed… the hall was adorned with eggs galore, spectacular balloon displays and flowers everywhere! Easter Bonnet displays, Egg Hunts, Easter Bingo, Easter crafts and competition created a hive of activity. Entertainment was provided by our wonderful Junior Girls and the very talented BGS IPerform pupils. The animals of course took centre stage. There was a donkey, a goat, a cockerel, a lamb, a pig, rabbits and many more … the children were thrilled! As we welcomed our families it was clear they were in awe of the spectacular event. We are proud of our pupils, parents and staff alike who collectively made the afternoon very special.

As we look forward to our Easter break we embark on a joint Junior Boys and Girls sports trip to Nordwijk. The children are excited to be playing International hockey and football with other schools in a foreign land. What a wonderful opportunity for our children! I am sure they will return having had a fantastic journey and tales of competitive ventures on the sports field!
We have been busy across our year groups ensuring our Spring Term targets have been achieved and we are progressing well. Work has been completed and I’ve been hearing lots of positive praise around school. Everyone is ready for a very well earned rest!

A huge thank you to Holly Hammond and her talented BGS pupils who attend her excellent IPerform Club on Wednesdays at school, for providing us with entertainment at the Eggstravaganza.

EYFS to Year 6 - Please can all children/parents take PE kits home on the last day of term!
