Last night saw our annual Sixth Form Open Evening welcome staff, students and parents to learn more about studying A Levels at Bury Grammar Schools.
Headmistress Jo Anderson and Headmaster Devin Cassidy addressed our guests and offered an insight into the Sixth Form experience at Bury Grammar School while Head of Sixth Form Stephen Prest and Deputy Head of Sixth Form Holly Hammond described what students can expect from our unique coeducational environment.
In the Sixth Form Centre, parents were able to attend presentations on the A Level syllabus in each department as teachers and prefects guided them through the two year course. Our prefects were on hand to guide guests around and offer more detail on our extensive extra-curricular activities including Young Enterprise, Combined Cadet Force and, of course, the school production of Grease.
Visitors were extremely complimentary about the evening and the welcome they received and we look forward to continuing our Sixth Form development with our Sixth Form Experience Day to be held on Tuesday 27th November.
